Chess.com pls do something about vacations.

I am playing a 3 day daily game with @MaverickIII . He started some 8-9 at the same time. He played the first three moves.As you people know,chess.co doesn't award points for daily games upto 3 moves.But then as soon as his time to play the fourth move reached 76 mins he went on a vacation of 9 weeks! He was rated exactly 1200(playing daily for the first time) but was rated 300 in rapid.I am 99 Percent sure I would win the game against a 300 rapid.But he is not playing properly.At this point I am beginning to be afraid that he would just waste 9 weeks and then the game would end saying I won but I won't get a single rating point.And he is a gold member so I understand it may not be intentional maybe he went on a vacation without his knowing.But my point is why start a game when you don't have the time to play one move in 3 days?Why accept 3 day challenges and then make the other one wait for 9 weeks? So for eg. He has a good intention and maybe he comes online after 1 or 2 days can he get out of the vacation mode? if yes and still he doesn't come out then I am going to report him for stalling.If no then I request the mods to change this vacation setting and reduce the time to 14 days at max.Its really frustrating to wait so much for a sure win.

Update: He is so busy at his vacation that he somehow gets the time to play a live game but after finishing it he is not even looking at the daily games.This is intentional stalling!

Premium accounts are automatically placed on vacation when low on time in one or more daily games.Players are also allowed to do other things on the site when Daily vacation is active.

Unless a player is using vacation to prolong a hopelessly lost game, then it's allowed to be used.

For eg you are playing a live game andd you have two queens.You think that your opponent will play something and then there is a ladders mate but instead your opponent makes you wait for 20 mins and says in chat "just wait you will win after 20 mins anyway" is it very fun?

Yeah right and maybe vacation time should be reduced to 2 weeks

Continuing to play rapid and then going offline without caring about the daily games.

I KNOW THAT but if he has the time to play rapid which takes much more time than playing 8-9 moves in daily then why not daily?If you are that busy why start them in the first place?And the position though is not hopeless but the result is kinda certain.He is almost 400 rapid whereas I am 940 rapid(I know it's not very good but enough for him) and also I am much better in the slowest format of the game DAILY in which I am 1240.Whereas he is a newbie to this format.So obviously it's my game to win.How dumb he is can be proven by the fact that after playing e4 e5 I played Nf6 attacking his pawn instead of protecting it with e6 or Nc6 he played Bc5! Obviously I took the pawn.And after that he has started all this vacation non sense.

Bcuz if the site allows people to go on vacation after completing atleast 4 moves and reduce vacation time to 14 days then the people will get there well deserved points.Here there is a possibility that he might never play a move again and that would result in no rating change even after waiting 9 weeks and being 3 times better than him.

That's a regular opening variation. There are a number of games with that position in the Masters database

If a player takes vacation, they don't have to make a move in your game when they're on and can play live games if they want. Their reasoning for the vacation, whether it's automatic or not, doesn't matter.

That's not an option in random seeks.
