I have absolutely no idea how to proceed in this kind of position. I mean I might have an idea, but not the correct one, though I only manage to get Kg4 right.

You just have to visualize the stalemate at the start. Easier said than done.

Sorry to disagree with you, Mr. Rensch, but this is one of the easiest studies so far.  It seems obvious from the start what needs to be done, and the stalemate is the kicker at the end.  You hardly even need a board for this one.
