chess.com supports cheating

Why does Chess.com allow people to play on steroids? Surely, there is a way to pair people on level playing fields. P.ex. people playing with premoves paired with the same settings and not paired with people that don't play with premoves. I'd like to see a real human being to think and physically move the pieces every one tenth of a sec.

So the problem is premoves?

Pairing is the problem. You cannot ride a 1000cc bike in a 250cc race.

Ok, the problem is pairing, not cheating

I mean if cheating is still the problem then this thread is doomed

Years ago, I got someone who was down to about 1.1 seconds and I had over a minute. They moved 10 times and won the game. It definitely wasn't premoves because after 5 moves I started playing ridiculous moves and the engine they had hooked up responded correctly. Afterwards I complained and I was told it was lag but that was impossible because it was in real time and there was no lag. Chess.com can be really dumb.

this thread will be blocked btw

MrChatty if you don't pair people on level field then you favour one of them and this is cheating giving the player unfair advantage.

Avatar of 19zoltan59

Optimissed. if this is blocked then chess.com proves that it doesn't care about fair play pairing on level field

Premoving is not cheating

And this may be blocked just because discussion of cheating is not allowed on the public forum. Join the Cheating Forum and discuss it there

Premoves are not cheating if both parties play premoves but if one of the parties paired with someone who has different settings then it's not fair play on level field. All I want to see is equal settings for all players. You can call it whatever you want but surely not fair play.

If my opponent premoves and still wins... I dont blame my opponent

Anyway you may contact the support and suggest that feature

Premoves are not cheating, you choose to play with or without them. If you feel that it's a disadvantage to play without them, turn them on. What is true cheating is that on the Android app and the website, there are multiple premoves and conditional moves, on the iOS app, none of them.

If you play at 5 mins per game or slower, premoves don't affect it much.

Avatar of 19zoltan59

Fet Why don't you choose to play without premoves? You have this option too. You choose premoves because this feature gives you advantage over the opponent. Chess.com should pair people with the same settings.

Optimissed So can the Italian soccer team play against England with 15 players for half an hour? Just because less playing time wouldn't give much advantage to the Italian side.

If one parties premoves is off, then to be frank, that’s that parties problem, I think that if you have premoves off in a bullet or blitz game then you really need to turn them on
