Chess.com tactics trainer

I have recently dedicated some time to solving a few hundred tactics on chess.com getting my "rating" above 2500. 
Not only do i not feel sharper in my games, i actually do worse on other tactics trainers ( other websites).

The tactics on chess.com seem extremely one dimensional and linear. If you see the main idea, the tactic plays itself with no complications and no depth. 

I got used to this, and when i went to another website and applied this approach my tactics rating there dropped by 200 points. Every tactic requires to see multiple ideas, calculate potential counter tactics and general counterplay.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it chess.com? Is it me?
