Lichess is better

Chess.com seems to have far more cheaters, probably because cheaters love dragging people with paid subscriptions.

Chessdotcom has vastly more players. Of course, there will be more cheaters. Lichess is less likely to take action against cheaters.

Better when it comes to pure playing. But chess bot has better features. That being said I'm a paid diamond member

Form what Ive read, lichess has better chest controls. But himestly if you're willing to drop a few bucks pee month chees Punto com has better features and Thier analysis is more intuitive

I think lichess is kinda overrated because me and my friend got banned because we reported eachother because one of us was hacking and our accounts got deleted

I honestly don't understand how your dual banning is relevant to which sure has better analysis

Most serious players use Lichess unless they're sponsored. Lichess is better for reasons such as better/quicker analysis, free puzzles and the studying resources. The only upside to chess.com is it's chess learning videos, rating system, and the bots to play against. But you can't beat free and if you're 2000+ Lichess is clearly the better site.

I have a feeling this thread is going to be deleted soon.

Say what you may, and I'm a fan of both. But the analysis on chess dot is bot faster, more intuitive and better than lichess, that of course if you're willing to pay to have more than one of those a day

PawnIsBestAndCool

I say Chess.com > Lichess because chess.com has accurate rating system, More players and most importantly chess.com looks wayy better than lichess

I think chess.com is better because u can play 4 player chess and other games

#283 lichess also has some variants (they even have variant engines)

I prefer chess. On lichess there is only 1 premove, so mousespeed matters a lot more.

Less cheating on lichess

Both sites have good and bad points and I play on both of them. I suspect that Lichess has a higher proportion of "serious" players, as my percentile is much lower there.

I’d have to agree. I play on both and support both financially. However, the percentile is not necessarily the most critical measure. Chessdotcom has vastly more strong players, especially titled players. I have beaten well over 200 titled players on chessdotcom with an overall losing record against them. I’ve played less than half a dozen titled players on Lichess, AFAIK.

Lichess has tournaments reserved for those who are titled. If you check one of them out you'll find numerous players with ratings over 2500 and a few over 3000 in blitz.

It's much easier to spectate and keep spectating games on lichess.

It's also much easier to *coach* someone on lichess, since all you have to do is create a study and invite someone to it. I don't think that's even possible on chess.com.
