I had the basic membership for a whole year back in 2020. I did use it for the videos but didn't really watch them very much after I did everything except the mastery. I am watching them more now ironically as there as some really good ones like Mamedyarov's opening surprises, Every Sacrifice Against the Castled King, and even the Anand series. However, some of the presenters have a very hard time explaining certain concepts in English which makes it hard to follow when you can go on youtube and find better presenters. If you need proof, just listen to Keaton Kiewra talk and you will get my point.

Lichess does have a separate category for longer games. Chess,com lumps everything from 10/0 to 60/0 into "Rapid" so the ratings here are pretty meaningless.
Also I can somehow get into the top 6% here but nowhere even close on Lichess, suggesting that the average player there is a lot stonger.

The numbers are much smaller at Lichess, but they are not overrun by complete beginners. Where I am in the 99th percentile here, I’m in the 97th there. Even so, the number who are stronger than me is vastly greater on chessdotcom. In rapid here, there are 150,000 players higher than me at the 99.2 percentile. Lichess does not give total numbers, but only 350,000 played rapid in the past week.
Yes, the average player there is stronger, or at least higher rated. But the number above me is much smaller even when a larger percentage of members.
Average player is higher rated because its a different scale. About 400 different. 1200 chess.com = 1600 Lichess for slower time control.
4 exemple, we have a chess lessons in school. There, they used linchess. But i use chess.com in daily bases.
