I think it's pretty neat, I don't have a favorite yet lol. It encourages me to play by different styles and this is so much better than playing with bots, no offense. Hehe Idly, I like playing Natasha and Pierre sometimes.

Wow, looks really nice, as they have different personalities (some are more attackers, others more positional). Good to practice when I arrange some time! Tks for the type Energetic

All the ones in the left column are available to anyone, as are the plain Komodo levels.
I know, I have played some of these, I think the ones I have played all have inflated ratings... a 1600 plays like a 1200
Custom engine parameters had been existed 20+ years ago. e.g chessmaster engine has 100+ personalities.
You can create custom parameters in many engines and play against your favourite one.
e.g, To create Alekhine like personality who prefer Kts, change value of Kt ftom 3.0 to 3.5 .
If you prefer engine to play closed positions, change pawn value from 1.0 to 1.2.
I don't have hikaru-bot.
What do you guys think of the new computer personalities? I think it's a great concept and it must've taken a lot of time to build algorithms to account for both strength and playing style! There are 67 of these cool computer opponents, which one is your favorite?
