Chess device I wish existed

So, I bought a nice wooden chess set and pieces the other week. Beautiful, but proving to be slightly tiresome to have to manage an iPad game + physical pieces at same time . Why do that? I prefer to play with real pieces for atmosphere and find it easier to visualise, call me strange.

What I would like is a thin glass overlay for a 20" chess board, that incorporates touch (for my moves) and simple display lights to display the comuter moves. preferably talking to an IOS device over bluetooth.

I could then use my super pretty wooden chess set as the interface to a solid computer opponent.

In this age of occulus rift + thumbprint IOS devices it doesn't seem too crazy a thought. Anyone elsewish such a device existed?

+1 (but the price... Undecided)

Not cheap (OK, outrageously expensive), but DGT already has boards with sensors and a USB port to your computer.  Chess.com doesn't support it but some other sites do.  Think there's a bluetooth option as well.

I guess the nice thing would be using existing sets via an overlay. DGT looks cool though.
