Hi All
I have been following the Moreilla-Linares 2008 (won by Anand) and the recently completed Amber Blindfold (won brilliantly by Aronian) and i was wondering if anyone knows what therese winners get to put in their bank accounts? It seems the funds or prize fund for these events is quite good, but im unsure as to how much the winners get to pocket.
I am doing some research on chess tournaments, so any input or knowledge of chess earnings will greatly help
