Hi all,
I was wondering, why do the engines suggest certain move, assigning it an evaluation, and when the move is made, the evaluation is different.
For example, looking at the Sinquefield Cup. Sometimes the engine offered on the official website would suggest, let's say, 18...g4 (-0.8), and after the player played 18...g4 then the evaluation becomes something like (-0.24).
Am I interpreting incorrectly the evaluation?
