HI I have three short questions for chess engines for portable devices, as the most common chess programs( my favorites are shredder and droidfish) support UCI Engines
1) I do not know which kind of character they have, for instance I know that stockfish is good to defend as houdin but what about the others? how can I know how strong they are, if are humanlike, aggressive etc? at the moment I can use cuckoochess, bikjump1,8 and 2,1 doublecheck 2.3, fairymax48q, garbochess3, greko 8,2 komodo, redqueen umax 48w zct 032500
2)can I use Houdini for android? I mean 2.0 the author do not realase, but why not compile for android the 1,5 as it is for free?
3)the mobile phone are really demanding for the batteries of mobile devices and this is terrible, I would be glad to use a chess engine more weak that do not suck up the processor, also if I have to wait some time( I mean is ok to wait a bit as an human opponent, if this means the battery of the mobile is save) I think there is a kind of project for eink ereaders that takes a lot of time to think but is consumption efficient
Thanks
