Chess Engines killed chess

Chess was a better game before chess engines. The only “cheating” that happened was when someone said “hey, is that Kathy Ireland over there?” and when they look one of there pieces gets moved without them noticing. Also the game was more rewarding when you found the right move when analyzing. An engine didn’t tell you that was the right move, you found it yourself. Also, 1500 rated players didn’t play like 1900 rated players.

The perception of cheating levels is orders of magnitude more than the actual amount.
