Chess etiquette question

Is it considered poor chess etiquette to move a piece back to it's previous position after your opponent responds with a move? Example, I move Qb6+, he moves king out of check, and I return to Qe3. I generally get irritated when people do it to me, but I don't know if it's seen as acceptable by the overall community.

Sometimes overtly drawish/draw-suggesting moves are interpreted as thwarting the fighting aspect of the game.

Generally speaking.

Not bad etiquette at all. The only bad etiquette related here is forcing an early draw with white can be considered bad manners sometimes, but that's not what you're asking.
