Sounds like you are being more than a little bit melodramatic. Your online rating is 1800+, which is already much higher than a majority of players will ever attain. From your photo, you look pretty young. You should keep working on your game and see if you can get a bit further.

Good luck - you sound like a nice guy. Brave to enter the bear pit here too. Chess makes me feel stupid too sometimes, but then, just occasionally, you play a move and think - yeah, that was ok - I'm not so bad at this.

I been playing chess on and off for years, and I think chess is still growing. I dont know or care if evers becomes more popular than golf or tennis but those who don't play are missing out on the best game on the planet IMO.
I assume you mean the best after strip poker.
But there's also strip chess!

I am so happy today. I don't think there is anything that could ruin it. A cat could piss in my cherrios and I would say, oh nice kitty. Today though I have a little money, which is an added plus, so I might walk down to this Mexican food joint and get a breakfast burrito. Their food is the best!!
