I think my graph for chess improvement would look like a rollercoaster. It took me a long time to get to 1300, after that it was a gradual climb to 1600, then an up-and-down dance to 1800, and since then I've stayed between 1800 and 2000 for years on about four different websites.

What is considered a decent chess improvement? Last November 2011 my blitz rating was around the 850s. My rating now is climbing toward 1400 blitz. Is this considered a good chess improvement? Also, at what rate did your rating increase?
