chess in Russia

Hey all, I'm new to chess.com and wanted to ask a question. What are the chess hustlers like in Russia (strength) and how many of them are around, wanted to ask as I'm visiting Russia for a week today.
I'm probably around a 1300 rating, so just want to know if I'll get completely destroyed every time

No chess hustlers there as its to cold outside and we don't have the venues for it.
In Moscow I went to a chess club once and long story short basically they told me that if you are below 23 hundred (2300) you are just a begginer and you can come but better if you learn how to play first.
Majority of people who knew chess before or play casually now just as a hobby, plenty of people like that who enjoys chess just as a hobby and will agree to play for $ with you, most of them will have the rating I would say 60% B class players 1600-1800 and 40% class A players 1800-2000
I'm talking from experience here and not just guessing or anything like that. My profile pic proofs it, that I know what I'm talking about 4000₽ = $70

So you can be over master level (CM) and still be just a beginner??

lol I'm glad I'm not Russian then, or I would get laughed out the country...
I got hustled once.
I was playing this random guy for $ 3|0 time limit best out of 3. So I started first game looked at the clock I had 2 mins something remaining I had to resign, same as a second game. His moves were so so so reminding me of a computer moves Im about to report this mother f.... ! But then I was like , hold on! I'm not playing online I'm playing real person in front of me haha what's going on?
So I asked him what the he'll is going on ? I thought maybe I should of drunk coffee today and I didn't, maybe that caused such a K.o in my games.
So I asked him what's your rating mate? He replied to me that is enough (means strong enough) I insisted what is it please tell me I need to know, he replied 26 hundred something.
Suddenly I understood why it was such a computer moves entire game lol
Thanks for all the info! At least it can hopefully be a learning experience.

I heard a similar story, that if you're rated as low as 2300 then you only know chess well enough to be a coach for beginners haha.

Study your whole life, achieve GM level, just to become a hustler LOL
