chess is a game of mind how true it is in this era😇

Similarly, getting good marks doesn't mean someone is intelligent, it just takes study.

chess is a game of luck   ,  90% luck  5%  killer instinct ,  5% God writes the destiny .
If the intelligence was important the asians  ( best IQ ) sh0uld be in the top 10 world ranking.   Â

It does seem obvious but you'd be surprised how many people give up on something just because they aren't good at it right away. Like they don't understand that the people who are good also sucked at one point earlier on.

those who are naturally talented + study/work hard can have the potential to reach grandmaster. the rest of the people study the game and practice it for many years but never have possibility of reaching that level.

Saying you can't become a grandmaster is a lazy excuse that is insulting to the people who put in the time. You're saying it was easier for them. Let me tell you it wasn't. Respect the work and time they've put in.

This is why you should respect people who are masters at anything - it's not natural talent you should praise, it's the fact that they've sacrificed their whole lives to become masters.

Yeah, I think being good at anything is like 90% study and hard work, 10% talent
This applies to the 99 percentile.
However, there is no substitute for gifted natural talent. No amount of study or physical hard work can compete with the very few who are naturally gifted. Goes for sport as well as chess.
