As the skill level increases the fun level decreases. What do you think?

Yes, i also think it's the opposite. The better you understand the game, and the less your games are decided by blunders, the more fun it gets!
At low level it was a game. At my level (for me my max limit) it's suffering and makes me not want to play chess

Sorry to be rude, but that was a very dumb post.
Hmm, I dunno. I'm not too good at chess, but I love it. As I've gotten better, I've noticed I can get more into the game and enjoy it while appreciating how different moves affect the game. So far getting better had only made it more fun, so I'll have to disagree for now.

Sounds like you just need to take a break and come back at it fresh. Also, I really doubt you've reached your peak.
