If a king falls on a chessboard and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound ?

What happens if the pawn was the father?
A man was walking across one of those rickety-tickety rope bridges in Africa when he met a dusky maiden coming in the other direction.
He told Blobby after, "I didn't know whether to block her passage or to toss myself off."
That is so funny!!
Yes, Brumtown, post 68, you said "no one is there to SEE it", and I wrote "... to HEAR it", that makes the difference.
Having five senses, we could think about "... to FEEL it", than the King will die when nobody is around.
We better try to make a koan of it ! Regards, Ger.
