Hi all, I created a Chess Notation Helper extension for Chrome.
I realized that after playing chess online for 2 years I was still having trouble memorizing chess notation, I couldn't really follow analysts or GMs talking about chess in notation, and I also realized that if I went to a tournament it might be a slight issue writing down my moves.
So I decided to create this simple tool/extensions which highlights chess squares on the board based on notation input, it shows the SAN (. Nf3, exd5, O-O) on the square you landed for 2 seconds, then fades out, providing instant visual feedback for the move, without being too intrusive to the overall gameplay.
At first I only used it locally, but I decided why not publish and share it with others, maybe it helps others who are having similar issues keeping up with chess notation, like I was.
It's completely free ofc.
