The queen is really good assuming the opponent doesn't have one

The bishop is good for sneak attacks,

The pawn is really good when in the right spot,

The knight is great for forks,

The rook is great for endgames,

The game would not exist without the king,

Fairy peices are great for mixing things up,

The box is great for packageing,

The board is great for existing,

and the table is good for slamming.

Thats true however, THE QUEEN IS REALLY BAD IF ITS ON THE OPPONENTS SIDE. And fairy pieces
Suck.

Variant pieces also count from now on.

bannanaman1000

screw the bishop

ThePersonAboveYou

The queen because i always blunder it and its so easy to miss a random queen checkmate while calculating

Queen is a male character in eastern chess.. it's called Wazir or Vizier. So you can still feel half-heart sympathy

Myster_Smyrk

The king, because he has the weakest moves and is the reason for losing the game.

Pegusu

The bishop - I just find it annoying, plus check-mating with a bishop or bishops is especially difficult.

LuisF

My opponent's king.

VenemousViper

Mine is still the king. Also bishops always get trapped, screw them.

The queens, the game is always interesting without them, they're just too overpowered.

I disagree with that. It's fun to use queens. Queens are also the entire purpose of endgame with pawns and rooks. You have to permote a pawn into the queen.

Each piece has its own reason to be hated

Pawn: Is the most useless and most useful piece, not to mention that it gets shoved in the worst places. It can also confuse those noobs with its signature move, en passant.

Knight: Unpredictable and has a funny move. Takes forever to move to that one square and no one can see this one coming...

Bishop: Sorry, I take that last comment back. Snipes from one corner, but can only move one 32 squares instead of 64.

Rook: Sits in the timeout corner for most of the game until either the king castles or every other piece has moved.

Queen: Comes to your half of the board and demolishes it entirely or can be how you lose when the pawn reaches the end of the board. Can be sacrificed easily and effectively.

King: Moves one space in any direction unless it breaks the laws of chess and castles. The king does not like to be seen by any other piece other than its own. Most lazy of all the pieces as it sits behind a row of pawns. Not very helpful in endgames as it's slow and likes to be a coward and hide. Unlike the Queen, the King cannot be sacrificed easily. When the king finds itself spotted from all directions, he gives up unlike the queen. The king likes to brag it is the most valuable and strongest piece even though the queen is several times stronger.

Board: Awaiting to be flipped in your face.

I disagree with the king. While the King admitaly is a little lazy, it's an important peice, and it's not like the queen moves that much. The king is a great peice in endgames, notice how it's used to stop pawns, and a actitive king will help guide it's own pawns.
I agree with everything else though, and I think the worst peice is the pawn
