I am trying to get better at chess and recently bought "Chess Traps, Pitfalls & Swindles." However, I'm finding it hard and tedious to set up the examples on a physical chessboard, where I have to slowly lay out the pieces one by one, play out the example, and repeat.

I'm looking for a program to run on my computer that will allow me to set up the gambits in the examples, save them as a file, so as to replay as often as I can.

    Suggestions please.

    Thanks,

How about a PGN file containing the positions/games in the book? It's in the free section at the link below:

Almost any chess GUI will be able to import the PGN file, pull up the games/positions, and walk through them.
