chess rage

Is this common?  Not sure if I can post the game since it would call the person out, but you can look it up on my profile.  Cliff notes: I blunder and hang a piece very early.  He misses it and fails to take.  We chat about it and I even offer a draw and rematch, giving up a couple points to him.  He declines and goes from bragging about being up a pawn to completely losing it.  Gotta say this was my favorite victory--I was trying not to read all the text and pull out the game under a time crunch.  I played on the other site before here and every game I played people were nice.  Almost no one on here says good game.  What's up with that?  I'm just trying to learn this age old game.  Anyway, kinda funny how the game and his reactions flow and sad that someone with this low of a mental capacity is on an equal level with me in chess.  I really need to study
