Forget about ratings, just play your games and let the rating take care of itself. Unless or course you have a PhD in advanced maths, then you can make it up as you go along!
Chess rating system

I agree with colina9. Your rating should be used more of a measure of your progress rather than a goal.
Of course, this never stops any of us from wanting those last few points to get to the next 100 increment. But, this is fine. You just don't want to cloud your thinking with rating thoughts.

people i am playing my first online chess game my opponent is 1600 and i am going to win but for some reason it says +392 rating i will have

no the question for the first game you will get the most possible rating i know that if you start from 1200 then i will have 1592 and my opponent is 1633 how is this logical

You should be happy it is like this, especially if you are good. It gets you to your acutal rating faster this way.
If you keep beating 1600+ opponents, your rating will be able to get there within the 20 or so games it takes for this to level off.
If you had to win games getting from 1200 to 1600, you would have to wait a long time and play lots of people below your skill level.

Timeouts are a loss in all forms of chess, that is the only reason for a time constraint. If you feel the 1 day may be too constrictive, you can opt. for 3, 5 or even 7 days /mv., to lessen the chance of a timeout loss.
When I learnt to play aged 11 I was taught to play the opening quickly to get a time advantage. There is just as much kudos winning on time as by a checkmate.

ok in the first game i playe i shold get x times more then the 10th game i will play my opponet is n rating i should get n+x=my rating i should get at least 1700 rating right
On other sites my blitz rating is between 1700 and 1900 My OTB rating is about 1850. On here it 1300 are people using chess software because some people are playing very strong chess and they have ratings of 1250. Something smells fishy.

Wilfie,
I took a look at your stats.
I think the issue may be the level of your opponents. It says your average opponent is 1255, nearly 100 points below your current rating.
If you want your rating to go up quicker, you should play stronger players.
When I play live games, I select opponents with ratings from 50 below my rating to 500 above.

I usually play on the ICC that is the premium chess site. I am playing people here rated 1250 who are playing like people on the ICC who are 1800 plus. I can only presume people here are using software and if I want to play against software I can do so using my own. Is this site monitoring the use of software and is there not a box people tick which says they won't use it. Some sites do give the option of computer assistance maybe that is needed here. Then those of us who don't want to play computers can avoid those that do.
i was asking about the rating system
