what is the exact meaning of ELO rating is it belong to your faster winnings? I have defeated a player only in 4 moves but it increases only 6point in my ELO RATING
Chess rating system
Raghurajsingh your tactics rating is below 1100.
Spend some money and hire a coach.
Or buy premier memvership to learn the courses.
:)

Raghur, what matters is how strong your opponents are, not how many moves it takes to beat them.
You will be rewarded more for beating someone rated 1600 in 70 moves than if you beat someone rated 900 in 7 moves.

You are actually right. I can't figure out why my tactic rating floats between 1550-1600 whereas mi blitz rating is around 1300. Then I go look at the tactics rating of my opponents and see that people woth a 1250-1400 blitz rating have usually a lower value in their tactics. For me it's the opposite. Quite weird. ,isteries of chess.com ?

Bullshit. My tt is lower than my rating. I've played about 1000 correspondence games here and that's my rating, compared to about one or two hundred tactics.

turtle, the general points system followed is as follows:
pawn - 1pt.
knight/bishop - 3pts.
rook - 5pts.
queen - 10pts.
of course points are not everything... the position of your piece also matters.. for example you might not mind losing a bishop or rook to save a pawn on the 7th row.. and points dont have any bearing on the game result.. it is just a basic framework to help beginners understand the value of different pieces
The queen is worth 9 pts, not 10

Ratings just really give you a idea of how strong of a players you are over a period of games, But i think we have all have games where we played much weaker players and blew the game by not thinking as well as we should.

Ребята , всем здравствйте .Не могу разобраться как создать игру не со случайным игроком , а выбрать соперника и где можно увидеть его рейтинг ?

if you meet opponent stronger than you, you fail the game, the rating lost a little, you win, you will get more

In the long run this is true, but there's a difference between a narrow, hard-fought victory and being outclassed.
Tactics trainer ratings are true only.
And others are cheats.
