So I’ve been playing chess for almost 8 years now and rn I’m 13. Chess helps me lower my stress rates at school. And I’m really doing well in math because of chess. Chess requires logical thinking and so does math and other lessons. I’m really thankful for this game.

What does a 13 year old have to be stressed about?

This is like the third post I've seen you respond to in a dismissive, condescending manner. what's the matter, nothing better to do with your time than act superior on a website devoted to a board game?

That's why I started playing chess too, it's awesome that you found something productive that helps keep your stress down. Keep at it, and check out MatoJelic on YouTube if you want to learn about some really cool famous games.

Eternal things. Like the school day. It lasts forever. Especially English class.

Why do you have to be a fu(king as$h0le every single day on every single forum post? Didn't your religion teach you to be kind and understanding towards others? I guess not!

IMBacon might have missed his meds today, I seen him be  helpful on chess related problems in the past, maybe he should stick with that?

I don't normally agree with worstplayer46, nor do I today disagree with IMBacon. Here, though... yeah. That was uncalled for, Bacon.

Happy for you that it's helping.

A question though.  You've been playing chess since 5.  How to tell how would you have performed in math and other lessons otherwise?

Studies shows teenage has similar mental health problem as adult age group.

However they rarely get support from the doctors .

It is the main reason teenagers are among the highest risk of suicide and drug abuse.

Indeed, IMBacon does do this!

He'll quiet down after he gets his meds...

Well all @IMBacon said was "What does a 13 year old have to be stressed about?"

Isn't that what the older generation is supposed to do?  Take a poke at the young and say "in my days,  why we used to... "  isn't this just tradition?

Have we gotten so PC that we react so strongly to this?

Won't just an "OK boomer" response do?

Can't we all just get a long sandwich?

Somebody gimme a long sandwich.

He wants no short subs!
