Chess study buddy

Hi there, I'm looking for someone around my level, who's keen to do advance their skill in chess (as I am) and wants (or needs :p) the motivation of someone else to bounce ideas off, analyse games (ours or others) and chat about what sorts of things we're reading etc. Maybe if you're like me and enjoy the game but have only just started to think about studying it seriously. Flick me a message or reply if its the sort of thing you'd like to do, but only if you're actually serious about following through !

I'm just going to bounce some ideas off of you. Why do I get wedding invitations when everyone I know, knows I think marriage is bizarre? Should I use stronger words?

Maybe they don't really want to get married, and they're counting on you, through a series of hilarious antics, to somehow make the fiance in question see the error of their ways. I'd draw the line at buying an ugly bridesmaid dress if I were you. Hey, I think we have the plot for a movie here!

yeah I'm up for it, I'm below you, but I just spiked up about 200 points in 10 days, so  I might be your level in 6 months or so. I'd love it if your up for it now though

You should not discard the funny openings too easily pdve. There is truth hidden in their laughter.

and as black

i guess players like that know that we are not grandmasters and go for tricks

i would like to see this trickster play my coach lol

the only game i won was when he played a semi-theoretical open sicilian and i was black

i guess i was just familiar with those kind of setups
