Same here. I only play if I feel like it, and never to kill time. I usually lose those games

I find that how well I play, at least by rating has to do with mood. If I am just wasting time totally bored, I drop into the 900's while if I actually am patient and looking at the board it is closer to 1200.
Not any better or worse, just state of mind.
