Maube you are not trying that hard, You have been playing for 15 years and your rating is 1725?
Some things just don't click with certain individuals. I think of my brother who was a child prodigy on the piano. He started playing on his own at three years of age and was transposing music at four. I took guitar lessons for two years as a teenager and could only play a few notes on the page along with some chords. I can barely play the radio. Go figure.

I mean, there's some people that have been playing for >20 years and have a rating of 300...
Chess is like speaking, Just because you've done it for a long time doesn't mean great words come out of your mouth ^^
It's like premio says--some things just don't click with certain individuals. I've been playing with my tiny weenie for 15 years and, despite putting in hours of practice each week, I am no better at it than when I first started.
That has nothing to do with Chess, rather with the skill to improve in this kind of 'game'
