I am a beginner to chess, but as a boardgame and card player I know that synergy is a common thing in games in general... otks and "combinations" and what not. Are there any specific openings, positions, tactics that can be combined together to gain an advantage for white or black. There are quite a bit of positions and it may be impossible to memorize them all, but I wasn't sure if there were any common ones (e4 or d4 et cetera). Thanks all 😁
