tactics doesn't choose the best moves 40% of the time.
Chess tactics is not brilliant it's a mistake ???

strategy is what sets up good position for u to use tactics later in game and force things if necessary. U have to be good at tactics to take advantage of piece advantages but u need to have good strategy to take up good positions. Strategy is like armour and tactics like sword . Sound strategy at the start of game sets up good foundation for future moves.
I like your analogy...well said

1) Everything said was trash 2) Probably should be coming from somebody like you. 2 is because you can't even spell, let alone play chess. Why are you a person to be talking about such big things? I'm not the highest, nor even close, but well above average and your WELL under average.
It is awefully condescending to look down upon someone for not performing so well with a language that isn't their native tongue... Better hope for your sake you don't end up stranded where there is a language barrier and you need help...it could end up serving as a painful lesson...

not true strategy rocks its the best of chess it' s real chess

I see, so English is the native tongue in Russia? Oh, I did not know that.
Either you understood that to mean completely the opposite of what it is written to mean or you aren't very good at being sarcastic...

I have mastered sarcasm!
Maybe in your native tongue, but you aren't so adept at it in English...

Do tell why you would know, your speaking your native tongue and you can't spell awfully.
How do you know that he can't spell awfully?

Unfortunately spellcheck can only go so far in keeping someone from presenting ideas that are bit erroneous...
That being said, I will say I much rather win a game from a 30 move strategic plan than from a 4-move combination.
The only reason strategic themes are what they are is because they allow tactics to happen. Controlling the center is only important because it allows us to attack, i.e. fork, two sides of the board. A rook on the 7th is only good becaues it skewers a punch of pawns on the rank. Having an outpost square is only good because a knight can easily threaten double-attacks everywhere.
EVERY strategically won game eventually converts to a tactically won game unless the opponent resigns just before reaching it. (Edit: As a GM once said, "Sooner or later in this game, you've got to start taking stuff.") For that matter, tactics only win because it converts to a checkmate.

HI
Chess tactics is not brilliant it's a mistake of most amateur and weaken players !
Chess is a strategy game !
An tactic is a mistake of your opponent !
A "strategic win" is a "mistake of your opponent", too - if you win like that, they obviously erred in picking the wrong strategy.

so when you say a 30 move strategic plan, are you implying you want to win because of your opening choice
Not really.
I'm saying I like to drag out that endgame. making my opponent walk the tightrope. Slowly squeezing the breath out of him. Watching as struggles in vain to find some way out of this eternal bind.
Heck with the opening.
well as far as i know a computer excells in tactics and it beats carlsen as far as i know every time.
In Carlsen's own words.... " Playing an engine is like playing an idiot who can beat you ".....
