Is Fischer timing played on this site (some time on your clock plus so many seconds for each move you make)?

Well I m not sure but here we have 2:1 & 5:2 preset time controls available wherein after every move u would've 1 sec increment in ur total time left on d clock

Tactical_Battle

Does it called fischer time system??

NomadicKnight

Haven't heard of "Fischer time system" before...

waffllemaster

Yeah, it's sometimes called Fischer delay.  I think modern usage people just call it increment.

Phil_from_Blayney

I think Bronstein advocated a delay system around the same time Fischer advocated his increment system. The only difference being that under Bronstein's system, each player would have a period of time before their clock continued counting down, where with the Fischer method, a player can actually add time to their clock by playing quicker than the increment being used.

Thanks everyone!  I was only curious about what the term meant, and if it was played on this site.

At my level of play, timing is not the problem.  Sealed
