Chess Titans then and now

Hi.

I played chess titans on my laptop (win 7 years ago) and beat it on lvl 9.

Now downloaded on win 10 and losing game after game.

Is it possible that with much better cpu chess titans is stronger?

It could be the faster CPUs, and/or it could be a new version of Chess Titans. Does the program even identify itself by version number?

I thought there wasn't a Chess Titans version for Win 10

Does the game graphics for the win 10 version look exactly the same as the win 7 version? If not, it's an updated version which uses 'crafty' engine, which is much stronger than the original chess titans engine
