What openings do you normally use? Use whatever your comfortable with. I normally use 1. e4 and 1... c5 but that's just me. The most important thing is just to have fun and don't be afraid of losing. If you're going to play more games, then no matter how you do here your rating will balance out. I had this problem at my tournament. I was scared of losing and began to play passively, and I ended up scoring 1.5/5. I don't think openings are what you need to worry about. I would focus on tactics for the last few days until the tournament, and with a 450-something tactics rating like yours, I'd practice them a lot. At the beginner level, games are usually decided by a blunder, so just focus on tactics and taking advantage of errors and you should be fine. Good luck and let me know how you do! :D

The main thing is to relax and have fun. If you are panicking you won't think very clearly. Just remember we are all people nobody has super powers.

Play your game - which means play the openings you normally play.
Take note of what your opponents play and study those after the tournament.
