Many of my friends and club mates asked me that question,
''what is best training method?''

I did not answer them but now i want to say about that.

IM pfren told  me following suggestions-

Solving...

  2. Theoritical Endgame [16 per day]
  3. Practical Endgame [8 per day]
  4. Mate Calculation Puzzle [16 per day]
  5. Late Middle game study [8 per day]
  6. Early Middle game study [ 4 per day]
  7. Opening Study [32 lines per day]

WGM Natalia Pogonina gifted me 'Plan Viewer' which was more interesting.

It helps to read positions & plans.

Stop thinking about studying, start studying.

Personally I got 200 rating points when I stopped looking through games and started doing real exercises. I lost 100 rating points when I started looking through games again instead of doing exercises. However, statistics are lies, are they not?

LOL...thats the study plan for non-serious players?

Give me an estimate...how many hours a day does that take you?

Earth64

It takes = 9x30 mins = only 16200 seconds

So im clear on this...

  1. Tactics Practice [ 64 positions daily] 64 tactics in 30 minutes?
  2. Theoritical Endgame [16 per day] 16 endgames studies in 30 minutes?
  3. Practical Endgame [8 per day] 8 endgame studies in 30 minutes?
  4. Mate Calculation Puzzle [16 per day] 16 in 30 minutes?
  5. Late Middle game study [8 per day] 8 in 30 minutes?
  6. Early Middle game study [ 4 per day] 4 in 30 minutes?
  7. Opening Study [32 lines per day] 32 lines in 30 minutes?
  8. Game Exploration [32 games  per day] 32 games in 30 minutes?
  9. Game play [8 per day] 8 games a day in 30 minutes?

So obviously this isnt in depth study.  Its more cursory study, where your skimming the surface.  I dont see the benefit of this.  How do you expect to absorb all of this in 3.5 hours?

Earth64

isn't it enough? 4.5 hours.
