Chess TV moderator abuse?

While watching chess TV I was banned from chat for 60 minutes, I did not swear, I did not use offensive language. There was talk about politics and I suggested there might be a 1 world government in less than 30 years, my comment was removed and it said I was banned from talking for 60 minutes. Surely this moderator is abusing his privilege?

There's just too many restrictions with the chat. I get that we shouldnt abuse and all but this is too much. 

@fastchessfastwomen Unless they accidentally banned the wrong person? Misclick?  I really am in the dark about the rule I broke and I would like to understand it so I don't repeat the same mistake?  Is there a limit to the political discussion?  Is suggesting a 1 world government truly against a rule somewhere or did the mod just dislike my opinion?  And let me remind you it was not a 5 minute ban... There was no warning, no explanation, just deleted my comment and 60 min ban.  I literally said "Some genius scientists predict that we will have a 1 world government, or at least most countries will be involved, in less than 30 years" there was zero profanity or offensive language (as far as I can deduce)  Maybe my comment was provocative but... really... was the mod's behavior justified?  And now I am asking in the chat who the mod was and what his reason was but the mod won't even reveal himself or explain why he did what he did.

Close-to-nothing but eric and aman were taking a short break and the chess discussion had turned into a rampant discussion of politics. 

When there's the threat of a one world government looming on the horizon, who still has the leisure to play chess???

Warnings should be provided before being muted. I see there was a 30 minute mute earlier today. If there wasn't a warning posted in chat, it is possible that it was accidental.

Though, political discussions are only allowed within private groups, so it is possible that was the cause, especially if the mod had warned about discussing that topic.

Thank you for the response vintage, as far as I can tell the mod was completely silent, and never issued a warning, several other people got muted as well.  There was a mod who was active in the chat but he said he didn't ban anyone nor did he know why anyone got banned.

At the same time Antonio, you we're talking religion in one of macer's threads so maybe you pissed somebody off.

OP, make that just a few more years, JMHO. The mainstream media doesn't begin to report all kinds of foreign news.

The "genious scientist" in question was Albert Einstein and his statement was made in 1940. He was refering to overt nationalism and the atrocities he saw in Germany.
