i mean, would i have rather visited other places in england? definitely. but i wasn’t there as a tourist, i was there to compete (and see my best friend chug down 2 monsters and 3 red bulls in the span of 90 minutes) and i had the wildest podium. it was me, my best friend, and the only girl in our class that was actually sane. 3rd place ovr went to me, 2nd to my friend, and first to the girl lol. not to mention the fact that we also got best overall team (me and bro didn’t even know what the competition was about)
Chess will never be solved, here's why

Hershey bars are disgusting, they're made from vomit I'm told.
i got the cookies and cream and since the best chocolate they have here in romania is Milka, i didn’t really have high standards
iq isn’t spmething people look for in the balkans so no wonder it’s uncommon
It's only @Optimissed that's obsessed with iq.

@Optimissed is not dumb tho, the contest i was at was about debates and stuff and from what i see he supports his opinion with somewhat valid arguments (not always necesarrily valid tho)

Maybe someone reverse engineered it and discovered the secret ingredient.

I think it's perfectly true that if @Optimissed keeps listening to @Elroch he's not going to learn a thing. But @Elroch is in no way special in that respect.
(@Optimissed would no doubt argue that's because he knows everything already.)
@Optimissed isn't going to learn anything anyway.
And there's about 170 posts since I last posted with maybe half of them from that O-person with all of his posts essentially skipable.
I sometimes see his posts quoted by others - including the posts rightly indicating that he has been lying about having a wife.
I didn't read his own posts though. His posts are trolling posts.
I corrected a typo in one of my posts - will look now for some posts from others most worth responding to regarding the forum topic or whatever.

"Nobody has ever agreed with your 10^17"
++ I tried to explain as clearly as I could. If people fail to understand, it is not my fault.
Which isn't very clearly - because its wrong.
People succeed.
Succeed in knowing that you are mistaken.
But - never give up tygxc.
The subject itself here - the fact that chess will never be solved - isn't that popular.
It was designed to be not solved.
And even though designed in a pre-computer and pre-electricity era ... continues to resist solution today and indefinitely.
There's just too many positions and computers are far too slow by factors of many billions to solve it.
tygxc has already admitted that chess cannot be solved by current technology and sometimes admits to a 10 to the 44th number.

"chess cannot be solved"
++ There are 3 kinds of solving: ultra-weakly, weakly, strongly.
Hex for example has been ultra-weakly solved, but neither weakly nor strongly:
the first player wins but we do not know how.
Checkers has been weakly solved, not strongly. It is a draw and we know how.
We cannot tell for any legal position.
Chess has been strongly solved for all positions of 7 men or less:
we know for each position if it is a draw, a win, or a loss and how.
For all practical purpose Chess has been ultra-weakly solved and is a draw.
Strongly solving Chess to a 32-men table base of all 10^44 legal positions is beyond present technology.
That leaves weakly solving Chess, as Schaeffer did for Checkers.
The ICCF WC Finals is now about there:
a strategy to achieve the game-theoretic value against any opposition is to follow an ICCF WC Finals game for as long as possible and then switch to an engine at 5 days/move until reaching the 7-men endgame table base or a prior 3-fold repetition.

Almost everything after "for all practical purposes" is garbage...(highlighted red)

Anything could be 'weakly solved'.
Cure for cancer - hey most people die before 90 anyway - and nobody gets to 130.
There. Cancer just got 'weakly solved'.
Reverse time travel?
Lots of movies making many millions of dollars about that.
There. It just got 'weakly solved'.
How about zero to sixty in under three seconds?
Is it 'solved'?
Yeah - apparently cheetahs can do.
Beating out muscle cars and fighter jet aircraft.
But Suzuki bike even faster.
Now that's Solved.
Want zero to sixty in under a second?
Yeah sure - a bullet in a barrel of a gun.
There you go.
