So perhaps think on that and stop trying to turn me against Optimissed again.
Chess will never be solved, here's why
@playerafar .. do u make money by commenting on this forum? Just asking...
Maybe! Because he always writes LONG texts?

So perhaps think on that and stop trying to turn me against Optimissed again.
Which I never did.
You commented about friend of enemy and enemy of friend.
He commented. I commented.
You two argued. In public.
You could tell him to stop trying to turn you against me.
You 'want out of that'? Idea - act like it.

I get a share of criticism.
Its okay.
People get to post here.
When disagreeing - there's some risk doing so.
When interfering with disinformation - there's more risk.
But the 'risk' is very small.
Its dots on a screen.

How do I satisfy you that I don't want a conflict? It is true that we argued, but it is also true that we made up. Maybe if you're going to comment on this page, read some of what's going on.

You want to pick a fight with me now?
You made a post.
Two people quoted it.
Did you know that quoting goes on here?
Answer to your question: you don't want a conflict?
Don't pick one. But I'm getting the impression you don't want to drop it at that.
Right?
Want another idea?
Don't try to make rules for others about what they can quote.
Its a group forum.
-----------------------
Somebody suggested you were trolling. But you weren't.
How about I make a request?
Don't accuse me of that. I didn't do that accusation against you.
So there's three now.
Good enough?
Want more? Want bottom post?
Don't let anything here get you down.
Its not worth it.
Like that?

Perhaps you should learn how to drop it, playerafar. I have already told Optimissed that I welcome quotes, except if they are used in a way that is negative or hurtful. A fight is not necessary, and I will not engage in one if I can help it. But you seem to be giving me no choice.

You asked me questions. I am answering them. The only thing that is wrong is that you do not like my answers.

You just said 'a fight is not necessary'.
Are you acting like that?
I don't think so.
After I finished replying to Dio. The subject changed.
but now you want to pursue this?
Perhaps you should follow your own advice and 'learn how to drop it'.

Your answers have to be liked?
You asked questions - I answered them.
You don't like my answers? Should I care?

Playerafar, my answers do not have to be liked. I am merely pointing out how this argument was started, and demonstrating why.

Your first sentence was good. You can stop right there.
I think you're wrong on point 2 and on point 3 you've demonstrated nothing.
Idea: don't expect to be agreed with all the time.
Don't expect others to be silenced.
Don't expect to like everything that happens.
Its not healthy. But to each his own.
Ideas (not instructions)
Drop it as the other just suggested if that's the only thing that will help you to do so.

This is turning out to be one of the worst winters ever. It just won't let up. I'm seriously gonna start setting aside an extra $1500/year to go to Miami during the worst coldest week each winter here, it's absurd. OK enough climate back to the chess discussion.
Shannon's number has no valid basis. It makes faulty assumptions such as using the assumed average length of a chess game and the average number of moves the pieces has each turn, somehow is a good estimate of the average number of games. Even though any 1 game can easily be trillions of moves and then you have to think of how many variations there are of a trillion move game. It's probably more like 10^200 games but quite frankly I don't even think there is a way to estimate it at all at this point.
The Shannon number does not make 'assumptions' EE.
Its a lower bound.

I don't expect to like everything that happens. I don't expect others to be silenced. And about what I said, I'm literally a 6th grader. Funnily enough, though, I make better points than you.
They say guys are good at strategy, but let’s see if any of you can actually beat me.
