I only take the Lexapro like once every 5 days, very lose dose, and its probably not even the right medication. Likely need something like Zoloft/Prozac. Bipolar and OCD are often comorbid. Asteroids aren't a phobia, there could be tons of them flying at the Earth from the direction of the sun that we can't even detect them coming! Just one of those could wipe out the Earth and we are defenseless against them, this is a way worse threat than 3 degree temperature differences in the climate. Again, common sense. This thread is starting to get off topic let's get back to chess lol

You just again made your personal situation public and the fact that you're on prescription Lexapro and you just confirmed your fear of asteroids without you realizing it.
I just quoted you - so its too late for you to delete your post.
You've posted in favor of banning of philosophy books too.
The list of things that EE is 'nervous' about grows.

Maybe neuroscience is the problem, since it gives people irrational anxieties about the operation of philosophy on the brain.

Good point 👉 anxiety 👈 is normal with the mind - body problems

No it's not, it's a dumb thing to be nervous about. When actual moderate problems occur in people's real lives, I guarantee they aren't thinking about qualia or the spirit of the universe or whatever. Because it's not important. Philosophy is one of good things to target with book-banning.

I'm quoting that one too. Before EE can delete it.
Yes - philosophy is a dumb thing to be nervous about - so why is EE so nervous about it?
And there's the book- banning post too.
'not meant to be taken seriously' that looked like the shadow guy trying to 'rescue' EE again.
-----------------------------------
@Optimissed contributed some good facts in his recent posts about the history of philosophy.
And gave some good insight/advice to EE about philosophy.
Trying to tell EE that he EE is himself 'philosophizing'.
With the further advice to EE to give himself 'a good talking to'.
EE will almost certainly shun the gift.
How do I know that?
Because EE's essentially been doing the same thing on the website for about ten years now.
--------------------------
Heard this a long time ago ...
Some seekers after 'The Truth' were spending much of their lives so Seeking.
They organized a long journey. To Asia.
With a certain Tibetan monestary in mind.
They crossed much difficult terrain to do so.
Experienced many severe difficulties with extreme cold and heat and logistical problems.
Water. Food. Lodgings. Security. Medical.
It took many months.
-------------------
But finally - they reached the remote Monastery.
They were introduced to the Head Priest and the expedition leader said:
'Great One - What is the Secret and Meaning of Life??'
The Priest replied:
'Where is Your Horse?'
For the other - his horse was With Him.
The priest was neither emphasizing the horse - nor the Secret.
But rather - the location.

I simply said book banning not burning, although those thick textbooks on the subjects would be good fireplace fuel to help heat houses in the brutal winters of this arctic cold planet.

You said much more than that. And you're admitting you've got issues.
Serious issues.
And too late to delete now.
What else is on your phobia scared 'nervous' list?
I almost forgot. Your own posts. Quite a thing to 'have nervous' about.
I like broken english.
'have nervous'. EE 'has nervous'.
Edit: And there goes EE deleting his own posts again.
But I'm using the quote feature here. So EE's posts remain.
He is ashamed of his own posts - so he deletes them.
------------------------------
EE 'has nervous' about the 50 move rule too.
He 'has nervous' about it.
And the 50 move rule is relevant to the forum subject.
But so is Set Theory and Game Theory and yes - philosophy.
Philosophy is allowed in the public forums here - but some things related to it are not.
I normally never make more than two consecutive posts.
Four consecutive is allowed on the site.
For those who don't like to see four consecutive - there is an option to talk to EE about his deletions of his posts. But suggestions: Wait till he posts. And use the quote feature.

This is not a place to discuss that.

If we genuinely try to move on from that, it might be best for everyone. Let's try to reboot our own programming.

Yeah, but tell playerafar to stop raging about my flair, it's irrelevant, and I'm a member, NOT a moderator, not that hard ngl

Erratum: 22013 is probably the publication date of the french translation -- I bought that yesterday because it was only $ 5. Reading Wikipedia:

How to Live (Chatto & Windus, 2010; Other Press, 2011) is about the life of 16th-century essayist Michel Eyquem de Montaigne. It was reviewed favourably on both sides of the Atlantic. In 2010 the book won the National Book Critics Circle Award in the Biography category, and the Duff Cooper Prize.

You are actually the instigator in this case, if you hadn't noticed. I would wager that nobody on earth has ever been muted on a messageboard for saying "try to be less of a kid". Don't get your sensibilities in a bunch.

Not that, just your posts overall, and I was saying you're being a kid, why don't you don't "get your sensibilities in a bunch."

Why don't you not try to avoid getting your own "don't you don't" straight; do you or don't you get why "don't you don't" is like someone saying things in a way that don't work for people that know how to use "don't". Don't double "don't" if you don't have to double "don't". Just don't.

If you don't not waste time on this "don't" stuff, you will actually find that the "don't" applications are still consistent from my "don't" end of things.

Tom Jones : emo pop-Punk

Pop-punk is distinguished from other punk-variant genres by drawing more heavily from 1960s bands such as the Beatles

The thing is, does a double don't identify a should, a won't or a shoudn't? Historically, a double negative in English has meant a reinforced negative and not a positive,

True, but not in modern standard English. If you add a Cockney accent to "well, we won't be having none o' that...", then sure.
