Such BS he so happy he won lol when the guy below is telling him what to do.
chess24; How I became a cheater..

I wouldn't really excuse cheating but I kind of understand it more when money is on the line. Now with the games here I think cheating is ridiculous; you certainly don't get any better and the higher you artificially inflate your rating the worse you'll get crushed if you ever stop cheating.

anyway, what I still cannot understand- is why the author felt he had to "cheat", in order to write about "cheating"...
and of course, whether the author actually DID cheat (and/or whoever did the youtube vid)...so.. is it clear to any of you that the author actually cheated in a tournament?
fwiw; the youtube vid did NOT look like it was at a tourney..

Cheating has always been wrong and unsportsmanlike. Sad thing i was accused of cheating by using a "filthy software" as one termed it:
These two members accused me when we were playing 3 minute games! OMG, how could i use a software at that time span for each player?? And honestly, when in good days i could be even highly rated grandmasters as i did so many times in the past. I hope zasdf and Bee-Keeper reads this and removes what they have written, with the thought of the possibility of being wrong and therefore being unjust in what they wrote which soils my name in chess.com.

correction...And honestly, when in good days i could beat even highly rated grandmasters as i did so many times in the past.
"beat" and not "be"...

Just delete their posts or just block the fools. They're just sore losers. They're not going to come back and remove the posts, they've forgotten about you and the game and are probably busy accusing others of cheating.

Thanks for the helpful advices and insights, Knightly_News and HarioChess! Both of these players are 2200+ blitz rated so i can imagine the pride. My highest blitz here is only 2165 which is less than theirs. Even though deleting the post or simply ignoring seems to be the right and natural thing to do, in my case I'm a chess coach and finding more potential students who looked at my profile and see those comments can easily be turned off and keep away from me...if they believe it, so what i felt i did right is to write back in my profile to defend myself from those attacks. And maybe later on, after several months i would then be clam and assured in deleting all posts written--theirs and mine.

an interesting article, but here's what I DON'T get. Why the author do this? did he truly 'officially' cheat?? look at the youtube vid. did the other guy know??
it brings up as many questions as it tries to answer. All I can say, is that cheating ... stinks. its pointless, and insulting. yes you can earn some change- I suppose, and I guess at the right open ALOT of $$$.
but at heart, chess is a simple game. a battle of wits. it makes a good james bond story to try to smuggle advanced electronics under the opponent without him knowing it.
its also very insulting.
