Chessbase 11 Crashes...

Posting here bc the books/equipment forum is kinda slow...

I have Windows 7 and..

Well so basically I downloaded Houdini today and added it as a kibitzer or whatever. Then I use it and accidently click default kibitzer to close it when it wasn't my default kibitzer. So guess what? The real default kibitzer Fritz tries to pop in and it mega crashes my computer. Like it wouldn't even pop in and this un close-able window is trying to load in Fritz while Houdini is analyzing and my computer couldn't handle it.

So I ctrl-alt-del and end task. Then I reopen it and it took forever to open. And I try to move the pieces and it lags like hell. I'm trying to delete Houdini but it won't let me saying its in use by Houdini ?!.

Any way to fix this problem? Im not tech savvy and I appreciate it. Thank You :)

Everything was working fine before the accident happened..

Ugh and my computer lags a bit in general now. Better be a way to fix this...

Re-boot your computer, reload the program (chessbase) and try setting Houdini as the kibitzer again (or wherever you were trying to do in the first place).  It wont hurt your computer to crash it, it's just a time inconvenience.  If it continues to crash your computer, I guess you can uninstall it if you really want.
