Do you mean without? Uh I'm not sure, but if you're on a mac you can install windows software and that works as well.

there are options to use it under linux with wine, but it is not recommended.

Without windows there is no reliable way to have Chessbase. I love Mac but accepted the fact that if you want the best (yes it is very much subjective) then you need windows. So I bought a laptop just for Chessbase. I have tried every other product and they are just not the same. Either horrible outdated interface or many missing functions. Don’t get me wrong , Chessbase is not perfect, however, in my opinion it beats anything out there

yeah agreed altho the problem is that chessbase keeps updating and my chessbase is like 4 years old (mega database from 2016) sad.png

Also what’s the issue with it updating? If you were to run it on Linux it would still update I would imagine?
