You're doing well... ChessBase 13 hasn't been released yet...

Good that you found it, although as i recall, ChessBase GmbH point their customers directly at it...

I used to own chessbase about 15 years ago but I didn't use it very often due to my career.

I am going to buy chessbase 13 when it comes out. In the meantime, I bought this book and read it in less than a week.

http://www.amazon.com/ChessBase-Complete-Chess-Digital-Age/dp/1936490544/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413752351&sr=8-1&keywords=chessbase+complete

After reading the book, I understand chessbase and its capabilities at a much higher level.

The book is very easy to follow even without chessbase. Yes, it's written for chessbase 12 but chessbase has said that CB 13 will have most of the same functions as 12.

I highly recommend this book if you want to get the most out of chessbase is the shortest amount of time.

I agree, it's a very helpful guide. There are also many helpful videos on youtube.

You can point a customer at a Chessbase manual, but you can't make him read it. Yell
