You have to purchase it.

There are ways we're not allowed to talk about. It can be done. However, if you want to do it legally, you go buy and download it. It's not cheap, but it's also worth it if you want to improve and really have access to the latest theory. You wouldn't be wasting your money. The reality is, knowledge often costs, but it's worth it for what you get. The Megadatabase is insane, and the Opening Encyclopedia is.... borderline ridiculous. They aren't peddling snake oil over there. It's the best stuff there is for this.
But my online coach on playchess.com(username is MDI) installed it by using a pen drive for me at my P.C.It did not cost a buck for me as well as him
Now im confused. You asked how to install chessbase 12/13. Now you say spmeone installed it on your computer?
Yeah he installed it on my P.C but i sold my P.C and i purchased a hp laptop. I copied almost everything except chessbase :(.I need chessbase only to save my OTB tournament games

Gotcha. if you want to stay free, then get chessDB (its free) and then download all of the TheWeekInChess .pgn files. you will have a nice free database, where you can save your games.
Yeah, pretty true. You'll be getting your annotated games from books anyway, not from a 6 million game database, which is mostly for reference and statistics. The Big Database is fine, and the books you get with the extra money are more than worth skipping the Mega.
