Sounds horrendous to me! Does the boxing part come before the chess? If so, is the aim of the boxing to reduce your opponent's rating by causing as much brain damage as you can?

Yes, I am just as surprised as you are. Found this video about 30 minutes and I wanted to hear the chess.com forums take on this "sport".
