Hello!

Is the chess.com ELO rating system equivalent to the one in normal life? If I am like 1600 ELO in chess.com, would I be 1600 in real life?

First of all, chess.com does not use the Elo rating system. Instead, it uses the Glicko rating system. Second of all, it depends strongly on which chess.com rating you are trying to compare to which "real life" rating. For instance, there are threads around here discussing at length how the chess.com blitz rating is slightly deflated compared to the USCF standard rating.

Thanks for your reply. I am talking mostly about the standard 30 min rating.
