Why does Chess.com lag so much nowadays?

Anyone facing the same?

Edit- 23-2-21 : Hello everyone, nowadays I often see that even when my WiFi is good, everything is running properly except chess.com. And also, when this happens, I see it happens to a large set of people as well. And I think it’s because of the servers. Chess.com is a American based company so due to the server being in close range, most American countries (US, Canada and many more) may not get a lag, but it starts lagging like hell for other parts of the globe is what I observed, if anyone from Chess.com can explain this it would be nice.

Yep, I just lost 3 minutes in a game when it came back to life!

Yes. WiFi is fine, everything else in the house is in great working order. Game stopped five or six times during my turn, lost 2-3 minutes each time. Will try again later. Moving on...

Technically, I don't suggest people use wifi(I'm talking about the mobile hotspot ofc) because it's just too lame and weak, wifi routers stand a god chance tho!

I get a 98ms average speed in wifi routers, so I guess that will increase Mbps to 400 at least.

15MBPS is good for gaming and so is good for playing on chess.com.

I lost four games because 12 minutes would go by before I realized no timers were moving at all. Hard to concentrate when your losing by timeout in the opening

In my experience it lags from time to time. Not a particular issue with 5min games, although I once had the bizarre situation of finding I'd repeated a move while my oponent played on! (eg me, Kg1 - g2, g2-g1 etc!) Didn't see anything until the lag caught up, by when my position was hopeless!

Regularly, doing puzzles, I drag a piece to the new square and nothing happens for several seconds. This is particularly noticeable if I've taken a while over solving the puzzle. I don't get this sort of 'lag' on any other sites I use, so must conclude it's a chess.com issue.

I just losing most of my bullet games, because I'm always playing in time pressure... of course if I'm not losing directly by time, I just losing because mousse sleep or Blunders... lots of my games ended like this.

By the way it is a great idea to loose a game and then say chess.com was lagging
