i know :( BUT - we're working really hard on it. we are putting some finishing touches on the UI this week and should have something ready for next week. everyone - go tell piotr how much you are excited to see Live Chess - maybe that will help :)

i'm so glad this is coming. i'd rather wait for all the bugs to get ironed out before you guys deliver it. take your time, guys, you're doing a fantastic job so far!

i think it's bad form to slam on other sites/people outright. i'm just really glad i found this site; let's leave it at that. so, to the others that know which site i'm talking about, please just keep it to yourself. it's not important. supporting this one is!
I have played in the demo 5 min games against some friends from here and against the computer. I have found everything to work very nicely so far.
I would like to know if once it's officialy up (non beta) we will have the option of creating tournaments (like blitz tournaments). Tournaments are very fun and I'm sure Erik and the Crew have looked around for inspiration, but in any case, playchess.com's is excellent in this aspect of users creating/joining tournaments.

Yeah, one step at a time. :) We are super close to launching tournaments for our "turn based" "online" chess (the one thats here now). We've already gone through a few dry runs on our test server, and things are working great.

Hmm... as far as i know all chess.com still in beta right?
I just played and it was very fun
I was just wondering when this feature will be full blown? I really enjoy playing on FICS but would love to just make Chess.com my main source of all things chess playing related. Anybody have any kind of insight into this?
