chess.com rating system

hello all,

I am wondering what chess.com is using as a rating system?

Because on chesscube.com, i am rating more than 1600 (ELO system) whereas on chess.com, i can't even pass the 1400 bar...

OTB, i am roughly 1600 too.

Chess.com uses the Glicko rating system.  If you search the archives (the little box in the upper right that says "search the forums"), you'll find a number of threads that will explain how it works.

The ChessCube/Chess.com descrepency is probably due to the fact that ChessCube starts you off with a rating of 1500 while Chess.com starts you off at 1200.
