You can periodically Save your progress on the blogs. Also, using the Analysis board initially and grabbing the PGN to insert into the blog diagram, might be a good workflow also.

When writing a blog with games added chess.com gives you 30 min before a message pops up that says everything's about to be deleted. My problem is you don't even see the message if your in the middle of annotating a game. I'm just saying 10minutes more or just a hour flat wouldn't hurt for blogs with multiple games in them.
